A ghost producer in the music industry is someone who gets paid, but not credited for their work. It's an unfortunate turn of events in the music industry, but it tends to be very common with well-known music producers.
Maarten Vorwerk, the alleged producer behind DVBBS, Quintino and Danny Avila recently has been making more of a name for himself. His rise to fame as a ghost producer came with an internet frenzy after he was rumored to be the producer behind Sandro Silva and Quintino's “Epic.”
Now the former-ghost producer Ashley Wallbridge has decided to start making a name for himself. Over the course of his career as a ghost producer, Ashley admits to creating 10 Beatport #1 records in his time. None of which have been credited to him.
