Legends in the realm of dance music, Depeche Mode has announced their first album in four years. The group best known probably for Johnny Cash's cover of their ‘Personal Jesus', has announced both a new album and jaw dropping tour spanning 32 cities in Europe. Once they wrap up the European leg of their massive tour they will head over to North and South America to continue the tour with the same name as their album, ‘Spirit'.
Depeche Mode will be donating a portion of their tour profits to charity just as they have in the past. They will also be releasing a video collections chronicling the bands experience over the last 30+ years.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the group released a few details of what the album will entail. Dave Gahan revealed that they will be working with a new producer this time around, lucky for all of us, that producer is James Ford. If you are unfamiliar with that name, he is part of Simian Mobile Disco, which most people will recognize that name from their masterpiece with Justice ‘We Are Your Friends' (not to be confused with the exercise in masochism, that was the Zac Efron movie of the same name).
