“I started to work on ‘Take Me Down' this summer, having all those festivals in mind but wanted to also cross it over to a wider audience. I'm really happy and proud to release it in this ADE week, and am looking forward to playing it live.”
– Mike Williams
Mike Williams has been steadily making a name for himself over the past few years. He initially did so with his bootlegs (including a unique version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘I Really Like You’, which reached over 3 million SoundCloud plays), followed by his first official record ‘Sweet And Sour’ that has been supported by artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Oliver Heldens, Hardwell and Tiësto.
Tiesto got so excited about the track ‘Sweet And Sour' he signed it to his Musical Freedom label, meanwhile supporting the young DJ whenever he could. He even pulled Mike up on stage during two huge performances at Ultra Music Festival Miami, and Tomorrowland. It's no surprise that ‘Sweet And Sour' turned into a massive hit, just like the Tiësto collab ‘I Want You' that followed this summer.
Now Mike has returned to solo duty as he just released his latest future house track ‘Take Me Down' on Spinnin' Records. It's another impressive production that again leans on widespread DJ support and will surely be heard during this week's Amsterdam Dance Event. Take a listen to the track below and be sure to support Mike Williams.
