Max Styler, the 20 year old Los Angeles based producer just released his debut album “Heartache” via Dim Mak Records. This release comes just after his hit single “Awakening” feat. CXLOE. The 9 track album features multiple collaborations with vocalists Colt Mathews, Karra and CXLOE as well as the aforementioned single “Awakening” and the previously released, “Gold.” ‘Heartache' features a composition of both melodic and technical electronic songs.
“In order to have lasting power you need to make music that resonates with people and not just have the coolest sound possible,” says Styler. “It needs to have a message, good lyrics, and a simple melody that people can hum to.” – Max Styler
Styler has already started planning for what is next, as he has another EP coming soon that features collaborations from the likes of Makj and Dirty Audio.
“I’m really nervous to throw out an album early on,” says Styler. “I’m still growing, but I think it’s going to be a cool statement to throw out nine songs.” – Max Styler
