Mau5trap uploaded a wonderfully tricky video yesterday that seemed to be a cipher of sorts. A cipher for the tracks of W:/2016ALBUM/. As you can below some select phrases that seem vaguely familiar read across the screen, classic Mau5 plays in the background and even Meowingtons makes a surprise vocal appearance at the end.
All I can say is thank god for the internet. The brilliant minds of Reddit were able to decipher the different phrases into track titles. To pretty much everyone's collective surprise…every track was already on Youtube. The mass amount of unreleased music Deadmau5 has streamed online as well as droped during his live shows was slowly scoured through and the album was pieced together.
It goes without saying, but Deadmau5 is easily one of the most cunning mofos out there. We have to imagine that something might be added to the release of the album or that this has all been an elaborate set up. Pardon the quality of some of the videos below, while fans have found the songs, they are all not exactly HD.
