Appearing out this week via Ultra Music is a wicked remix EP, pulling together three remakes of Russian songwriter/singer Polina's “Little Babylon.” With the original gaining plenty of widespread recognition when it landed, this set of remixes is likely to continue the track's appeal.
Stepping up first into the fray is Germany based artist Adam Trigger, who layers the melody with a surging electro energy, and keeps the bassline sounding crisp and sharply progressive. Joe Kold appears with a stripped back, acoustic intro before moving into synth-pop territory. Completing the set is Australian producer Jyye, who edges in lashings of percussion and rhythmical dynamics to the mix.
