Now out and ready to snap up on drum and bass label Spearhead Records is “Vol.3”, the newest set of four tracks from Villem and label head BCee, otherwise known as The Vanguard Project.
It opens with “FLLN 4 U”, an almost twinkling blend of fluid riffs and cleanly placed bassline. The vocals here are rich and instantly memorable, as are those on “From Inside”, the slightly deeper, rolling following track. “Milestone” has an air of urgency with its emotive vocal and string combination, before “More Jungle” closes with more breaks influences and snatches of brass instrumentation.
