Henrix' Biography and Interview:
EDM Sauce: What got you into Electronic Dance Music?
Henrix: What got me into EDM, i dont really remember, I used to listen to trance back in the early 2000s thats actually why I decided to do a cover of ” I see Right through to you” some people dont know but thats an old trance song by DJ Encore, We had Stacey Michelle cover it and she was on point, so I cant put a one thing that got me into it, I really got into it hard though when I first heard Tiesto – Adagio For strings and Love comes again.
EDM Sauce: What is your inspiration for making music?
Henrix: My inspiration is making music people love and can appreciate, if its for a club or just to listen to on their ipod. I love making different types of music and people have been liking that, so that inspires me to keep doing what I'm doing. As far as what music inspires me, honestly I get inspired by rock, mostly classic rock (Pink Floyd is my favorite band of all time). I like every type of music and can appreciate everything for what they are to tell you the truth. You'll never hear me hating on a genre of music as I know not everyone has the same taste just like fashion, and just because you don't like something doesn't mean someone else doesn't have to like either.
EDM Sauce: Where are you from?
Henrix: I'm from Brazil, was born there but I was raised in Miami, got here at the age of 5 but always go back to see my family since most of them live their.
EDM Sauce: What are your plans for the future of EDM?
Henrix: Plans for the EDM world…hmmm..i honestly haven't made plans haha, i live it one day and track at a time and let shit happen as it is, no need to rush anything. When things are meant to happen it will, as long as in your mind you know your working your ass off for it to happen and not just waiting there for it to fall on your lap.
EDM Sauce: When did you start?
Henrix: I started djing in 2006 so ive been in this little journey for about 6 years now and im not even halfway their yet!
