Over the holiday weekend, Tiësto gifted electronic music fans with a brand new compilation album under his sub-label, AFTR:HRS. The fourteen-track collection, aptly named AFTR:HRS- Mixed by Tiësto, showcases artists from his deep house label, which debuted earlier this year.

In an interview with Billboard, the superstar DJ stated the album is not meant to be music that he plays on stage, but rather something he would listen to in his car or on the beach.
The album may seem like a bit of a departure from the heavy beats Tiësto is known to play, but to fans of his earlier work, this may seem like a bit of a homecoming to his Trance roots.
“I think people who like me from the beginning — who liked me when I first started DJing and was playing all trance — they will appreciate this compilation as well because it has a lot of melodic sounds.”
The hour-long album has songs by familiar artists like Sultan+Shephard and Alex Shulz to newer talent such as Niklas Ibach and even a track from Tiësto himself.
