Esquire reported early this morning that ahead of the release for the iconic heroin-centric film, Trainspotting 2, the soundtrack details were released online.
They came in the form of an Amazon link which has since been removed. Before it was, some lucky individuals were able to catch the full track list through a screen grab. The soundtrack includes two legendary electronic groups – The Prodigy and Underworld.
The Prodigy reprise their roll from the first Trainspotting soundtrack with their remix of Iggy Pop's ‘Lust for Life'. On the other side of the bill, Underworld lends tracks known as ‘Slow Slippy' and ‘Eventually But' to the movie's album.
Trainspotting 2 comes out at the end of the month and not much info has been released on the sequel. We can only say for sure that this soundtrack will add a new layer of complexity to an already intense film.
