With so many great artists coming out of the woodworks in 2016, it's hard to pinpoint all of the year's best up & coming/new artists.
Back in late December, we asked for your input and these were who you've voted for. This year's poll collected votes from more than 18 countries including those of the United States, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania, Australia, Denmark, Canada and many more. So without further adieu, the results are in and you have voted Marshmello as this past year's most up and coming and best new artist in 2016.
Despite gaining momentum in 2015, Marshmello took off in 2016 with the release of his self-released debut album. In addition to the success of the 10-song EP, Marshmello released “Alone” off of Monstercat Records and has risen to the top of the charts.
