Well it might be a bit premature to say but I am going to anyway. The Chainsmokers have done it again. There latest track, ‘Paris' is already becoming a certifiable pop hit.
Headline Planet reports that, Mediabase, a company which provides data about 180+ radio stations in both the United States and Canada, has reported today that ‘Paris' has been added to the playlist of 156 radio stations in the US. Okay we know that does not sound like a lot…surely there are thousands of radio stations in the country. Well if you consider only pop stations would add the hit, then see that the closest runner up was Clean Bandit with 26 adds, the picture starts to pop out at you.
The Chainsmokers are starting to become a phenomenon – their ability to create an instant pop hit that resonates across the world is unnatural. Their productions have become the the goal in the world of dance music and pop crossover, and while many have tried to replicate their success, none thus far have succeeded. We congratulate The Chainsmokers on this massive achievement because honestly – ‘Paris' is a beautiful track.
