For the last ten years or so Detroit's seminal techno festival Movement has been expanding the musical horizons of many an attendee and this year is no different. Now that the second phase lineup has been released, we can really dig in and see some new faces as well as the mainstays. As Movement does a great job of curating both to the underground and the mainstream, I've gone through the lineup and pulled out some notable names that I would highly suggest you go see if given the chance. Some other notable names have been added as well, with Richie Hawtin and Deadmau5 alias ‘TestPilot‘ joining Carl Cox as the mainstage headliners for Saturday, and Sunday respectively. I will feed into the hype train a little here and say that seeing the mau5 break out his minimal alias will hopefully be a great set to experience. If you're not aware, this doesn't happen very often as his last set was back in 2013 at SXSW. All in all this is shaping up to be a great festival and I'm so excited to make the trip to Detroit to experience it once again this year.
