3LAU is just one of those dance music artists that makes you smile. He is humble, entirely authentic, and more than anything – hardworking. 3LAU is also known for being in constant contact with his fans and followers. He is never afraid to reach out personally and respond to tweets or comments, and even put his money where his mouth is. For example, recently after catching flack for expressing his upset with a particularly unproductive protest in my hometown of Philadelphia, 3LAU set up a donation drive for a cause close to the protester's ideology.
Why give all this lead up? Well we wanted to characterize the kind of guy Justin truly is. This is why we love the way he announced his first album set to be released this summer (He also mentioned a few singles are on their way as well). 3LAU just gave it to us straight, no lead up, no pomp – just classic humility.
