Producer and DJs Andy Murphy and Jolyon Petch come together as Murph & Petch for a wicked new release this week on Vicious Recordings, and to celebrate their creative union, we've got hold of their five Musical Guilty Pleasures.
1) Mura Masa – “Love$ick” ft. A$AP Rocky
One of our current favourite producers Mura Masa brings the fire with his new collaboration with A$AP Rocky. Sick broken beat groove and catchy vocals make this one irresistible beat… Mura Masa for the win.
2) M1 – “Emotions”
Been a fan of Mariah Carey‘s vocal talents over the years, and this house rework that came out last year from our boy M1 totally nailed the feel-good vibe on this record.
3) Shakedown – “At Night” (Kid Créme Remix)
When this song came out in the early 2000's, this was my go-to song to pack out dance floors. Love that Belgium/French style of house music and Kid Créme & Junior Jack used to deliver the goods on pretty much every record.
4) Zara Larsson & MNEK – “Never Forget You”
Zara Larsson is the new pop goddess, same tone as Rihanna but has a cooler Scandinavian vibe and look. This collaboration with MNEK rocks – love the vibe of this record.
5) Kisch – “Love All Day” (ft. Leela D)
Newcomer house producer Kisch delivers a kickass original tune here. Keeping the vibe simple and working that hypnotic bass groove and catchy vocal hook of Leela D, Ttis is a hot tune in our sets.
