If you’re a fan of Kaskade there’s a chance you’ve heard of the up and coming producer, Lipless. If you haven’t, get ready to meet your new favorite artist.
His face may be hidden behind a Mask, but his music stands out boldly. Only coming on the scene a year ago, Lipless has made serious moves for himself.
In the pat year, Lipless has released multiple tracks and remixes as well as his Wake Up Call EP on Kaskade’s imprint Arkade. He even scored a Grammy nomination for his remix of “RYX—Only” with his mentor Kaskade.
Lipless isn’t slowing down either. He just released the first track, “Sticks and Stones” off his upcoming EP, Chronicles. The track has a hypnotizing baseline combined with soft, sexy vocals that draws the listener right in. And this is only a taste of what is soon to come.
We may not know much about this mysterious masked producer, but thanks to Music Magazine we learned Lipless is a native to Australia and now based in LA. Combining big rooms sounds with underground house vibes, this guy is sure to make a big name for himself.
According to his Facebook page, Lipless comes from “a place exceeding perception of the physical realm, a place that connects an entirely existential level through music.” Lipless wants his music to transcend the physical world to take you to an entirely new realm where only sounds exists.
He is not currently on tour, but we have learned that an intricate visual show is in the works. And with approval from someone like Kaskade, we know it is going to blow our minds.
Right now Lipless is sitting at 1,451 SoundCLoud followers. But just wait, that number will soon rise.
