Martin Garrix's new single ‘Scared to Be Lonely' has been streamed over 250 million times since its release in January. The Future Bass infused Pop Record has been hitting radio stations across the planet and is the second single to be released showcasing this new side of Martin Garrix.
The Dutch DJ has had an accomplishing career over a few short years, and much of that has been due to his inability to be afraid to step out of his comfort zone. With his new releases being delivered to a much wider audience, it seems that live performances like this one are the next frontier for Garrix to master.
Back in August, Martin Garrix appeared on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show alongside Bebe Rexha to perform their massive collaboration ‘In The Name Of Love', which went Platinum in the United States. Their performance however, was described as awkward especially because of Bebe Rexha's flat-sounding live vocals. We give Martin credit though for stepping out of the DJ booth and onto a live stage, and his performance with Dua Lipa showed improvement as Dua Lipa's amazing voice stunned the crowd! Dua Lipa's debut album is out this June, and with Ultra Music Festival a few days away, maybe we'll soon hear a follow up record.
