Dirtyphonics x Bassnectar just released their new collab on Monstercat featuring the high-energy vocals of Ragga Twins. These 2 guys are known for releasing absolutely MASSIVE tunes, so the community knows we are in for a special treat when we see them working together.
“Watch Out” combines the pumped-up drum and bass influence of Dirtyphonics and massive basslines from Bassnectar that we all know and love. The sound design is immaculate throughout the drop which is filled with an array of growls and wobbles. The tune is backed by the vocals of MC's Ragga Twins, who have a track record for being featured on bangers with artists like Skrillex, Must Die!, and more.
Following up after his remix of “Front to Back” by Buku, “Watch Out” is definitely a huge release in comparison. Some listeners were not too fond of “Front to Back”, saying it sounded far too similar to the original version. Dirtyphonics are coming fresh off the release of their new 3 track EP “Night Ride” which came out February 10th of this year.
This collaborative project definitely got the ball rolling for both of these artists in 2017 and we look forward to seeing what comes next from 2 of the most well-renowned names in dance music.
