A couple of months after DJ Mag crowned Martin Garrix as the #1 DJ in the world, the iconic DJ publication has returned, releasing the results for the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs. Unlike the Top 100 DJ Awards, announcing the top clubs in the world is a much less controversial process, however the competition is as tough as ever with ultimate party destinations in Ibiza, Comboriu, Las Vegas and London all competing with the fast emerging staples of Asia and Europe.
Space Ibiza returned to the number one spot in what was a fitting tribute to the iconic Ibiza venue, which recently closed its doors with Ushuaia owners taking the reigns with a new clubbing brand in 2017. Deservedly coming in at number two was Fabric London, who spent the year in the headlines after being saved from council closure at the tail end of 2016. Rounding out the top 10 were venues in Ibiza, Brazil, Singapore, and our only US Top 10 entrant Echostage in Washington, DC placing at number eight.
Overall the US faired quite well in the Top 100 with Las Vegas’ Hakkasan (#16), Omnia (#22) and Marquee (#30) round out the top 30, while LA’s Exchange (#27) and Avalon (#33) also placed among the highest US entries.
