East Coast Dirtybirds and Tech heads, rejoice! Everyones favorite BBQ and music festival hybrid; the Dirtybird BBQ 2017 Line Up is here, and the festival is coming to our Nations capital this May. DB BBQ has been a popular festival series traveling all over the US last fall hitting Seattle, San Francisco, Brooklyn and Miami. On their spring tour, the tech label will be traveling to Washington D.C., Las Vegas and San Fran once again.
Dirtybird BBQ 2017 Line Up
Dirtybird BBQ 2017 Line Up is headlined by Dirtybird's father; Claude Vonstroke who founded the label back in 2005. Dually important to the labels founding and popularity is San Francisco native, Justin Martin, the other headliner for the Saturday BBQ.
The lesser known artists on the Dirtybird BBQ 2017 Line Up include Kill Frenzy, Walker & Royce and Weiss. Hailing from Berlin and living in Belgium, Kill Frenzy is popular for his bizarre yet melodic, catchy underground house & techno. You've probably heard his smash hit “Make that Booty Clap” which spread like wild fire through the techno scene in 2012, the same year he signed to Dirtybird. His debut full length album Taylr Swift was released in 2014.
Walker & Royce are a star duo from the Dirtybirds label that have had huge singles such as Hit Dem Draws, Peep this Cat, and Boy. The duo met in NYC's dance scene, and decided to start producing music together in 2011. The duo will also be performing at Elements Lakewood Festival over memorial day weekend and the first weekend of Electric Forest.
Lastly, Weiss (pronounced Vice) will be joining the fun in the sun at DC's DBBBQ (a mouthful, we know). The London native has been supported from the likes of Loco Dice, Green Velvet and Pete Tong. Some of his most popular singles include ‘Walk with Her‘ and ‘My Sister‘.
