EDM artist Jesse Kendal or KENDL has just released his second single For Her from his anticipated forthcoming Colours EP.
Asides from being an avid lover of good whiskey, snowboarding, and the outdoors, KENDL draws inspiration from musical role models like Bonobo, Four Tet, and Jamie xx. He performs everything live (no button pushing here), fills his studio with plants to breathe more life into the atmosphere, and ultimately makes a style of music that reflects his appreciation for nature through organic sampling and production.
The unique percussion, diverse arrangement, and the literal shift in emotions as the song processes and the vocal samples breathe life into it. The slow build up in intense and placid sounds combined with the low tempo basslines is a delightful track that will sooth your soul to the core.
