Breakbot is unveiling their new single, Mystery, via the iconic French imprint, Ed Banger. Mystery comes alongside the official announcement in anticipation of its EdRec100 compilation celebrating 100 releases on Ed Banger, due out next month. The compilation includes new music from Frank Ocean collaborator Sebastian, Cassius, Boys Noize, Busy P, Mr. Oizo, So Me, and many others from the Ed Banger roster.
Mystery, expertly melding the genre with forward-thinking composition and a signature groovy bassline. The new single is fresh but with a vintage vibe to it bringing back disco basslines infusing it with vocals making a perfect track.
The entire Ed Banger EdRec100 compilation comes out on May 12 and will feature new music from artists that have not only defined the label but have also left their mark on music as a whole.
Speaking on the compilation, Pedro says: “It was too hard to choose which artist will do the 100th release of the label so we’ve asked everybody to make a track for this record. Here is ED REC 100 – a 17 track compilation.”
The compilation also features new music from Pone, Riton, Fulgeance, Feadz, Krazy, and Borussia.
