Los Angeles-based producer Pasdat dropped his new single titled Don't Tell last week as his second single of 2017, following up from his first release of the year with Dimebag.
Don't Tell starts off with orchestral trap bells, backed by powerful trap horns and a fat hip-hop style beat. The build leading into the drop is filled with suspense as the horns blast over the accelerating snares. The drop hits insanely hard right from the jump. The basses are grimy and it is stacked with otherworldly wobbles through the entirety of the drop. It is a seamless combination of riddim style basses over an ill trap beat making for a really unique tune.
Pasdat is a prime example for how an intricate and exclusive sound is capable of making a track stand out among the crowd. It is clear that he has been fine-tuning his sound design skills and Don't Tell shows us exactly how it is paying off with one of the hottest drops of the year so far. Hopefully we will hear more sick tunes from Pasdat throughout the rest of 2017.
