Muzzy has put out Break Away featuring Priority One on his Spectrum EP, released on Monstercat’s label. Two top-tier UK drum and bass producers together on one track, you can see where this is going. Break Away is straight fire. The song starts with an atmospheric and slightly industrial feel. As the vocals come in, the track has an almost synth wave vibe to it. When the drum and bass kick in the synths cut through the song like a buzzsaw and the energy level is increased. At the bridge, the track returns to the 80s type of synths only to build back up with a saturated bass line giving it that gritty UK sound that I love. This is yet another fantastic dnb track that I am more than happy to hear on the Monstercat lable.
