London-dwelling producer and DJ Haides makes his debut release this week, dropping a four-track delight that takes the form of Faith. Citing inspirations as Skream and Benga, this electronic talent channels many influences into his first official record.
The EP opens with “Open,” a synth-led progressive sound with bags of unbridled soul. “Need This” is a stark contrast, harnessing chilled out R&B vibes with smooth pianos and gorgeously inviting vocals, before the title track comes in. This one is a rhythmically assured tune featuring the rich tones of Adam James, and comes as a pre-cursor to closing track “Communications” ft. Camilla Grey – a highly acclaimed single that keeps offering more with every listen.
