News has been circulating for some time that an LCD Soundsystem album was in the works after almost 12 months the band have finally confirmed that the album is done and will be in our ears in the next few months.
Frontman and DFA founder James Murphy confirmed the news to the crowd during their recent headline show at Sasquatch festival saying that they’re “finally done”, and that the group “feel like we’ve knocked it out of the park with this one.”
Murphy then took to Facebook to give his fans an update on the album proceedings saying “Hello humans. this is just a note to say that we're done with the record. like, totally done with the music and mixing.” The record will be the last to come out of the original DFA studios, which they’ve been operating out of for nearly 20 years.
