Spring Awakening Music Festival is taking place in Chicago this weekend and one of the biggest acts performing was Axwell /\ Ingrosso. The duo were scheduled to play the Solstice Stage this evening as well as an after party at Prysm. The duo posted an unfortunate message on Twitter which the festival has just echoed.
Someone broke into Sebastian Ingrosso's car last night and stole his Laptop, passport and other valuables. The theft of the passport was the most damaging though, as without it Ingrosso is not able to legally enter and work in the United States. Seb and Axwell were forced to cancel both their festival set and after party. All patrons who purchased tickets to the after party will be automatically refunded if they choose. If ticket holders want to, they can attend Yellow Claw at the after party who have been tapped as the official replacement. You can read the full statement below.
