Steve, Steve, Steve, what are we going to do with you. Why shamelessly collaborate with popular rap artists when the result will only end up being exactly what everyone has expected. ‘Night Call' is formulaic and relatively forgettable.
Steve Aoki Holds To The Status Quo
There is nothing actually wrong with ‘Night Call'. It is a solidly produced track with verses from both Migos and Lil Yachty. That is about where the positives end on this one. It is clear ‘Night Call' was produced as a turn up anthem meant to hype up a crowd. That being said we cannot shake the feeling that we have heard it before. It all feels like Steve was trying to capitalize on the big names of hip hop and sold out a bit. Check out the track below, while it did not appeal to my tastes that does not mean that it is a bust for every audience.
