Martin Garrix sat down with Rogue Magazine this past week and dropped some juicy details on one thing that has been on the mind of all Garrix fans. It was noted a few weeks back that Martin was seen getting cozy with his ‘Scared To Be Lonely' collaborator on the set of her new music video. Now we have official word from the EDM legend that he is again working on another single with Dua Lipa. Martin spoke on how ‘Scared to Be Lonely' came to be:
“With Dua [Lipa], I had never met her in real life but I had this song called ‘Scared to Be Lonely’ and I really wanted [her to sing] a duet to be on the record because I loved her voice. Actually I’m in the process of doing another song together with her. I really got to like her and found out she’s amazing and super dope, she has great energy. There’s also been times where people are recommended to collaborate with but I don’t really connect with that person. But I did with her. The writing process is the most important thing and if there’s not a great vibe in the studio creating a song, then it’s not worth staying in the studio.”
That quote is like music to our ears. Martin and Dua made for an absolutely electric single the first time around, so a follow up to ‘Scared To Be Lonely' is something I can safely say we all have wanted. So far no News has been released on when we can expect this next release.
