Last night the American Music Awards featured the category Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year for the first time ever. The nominees for this category were David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Skrillex. David Guetta ended up pulling out the win on this one, but what made us laugh was the presenters this year for the award.
The presenters for this year was Elisha Cuthbert and Kelly Rowland. Elisha said “EDM! It's the hottest new thing in music! If you're wondering what EDM stands for, it means electronic Dance music” while Kelly Rowland stated “Now this is a brand new category recognizing this increasingly important genre of music.””
