After patiently waiting for new Apple emoji's, the wait is almost over. In celebration of World Emoji Day, Apple announced the long-overdue addition of some new emojis.
The latest smileys and pictograms have been in the works since fall of 2016, when Emojipedia proposed 51 new icons. Apple took the submissions and released the new T-Rex, Guy Eating a Sandwich, Pretzel, Slice of Pie, Coconut, Zebra, Zombie and Elf emojis as “a fun way to describe situations.”
While Apple has not released a date for the emojis to be released yet, Excision fans are already taking notice of the new T-Rex emojis.
