The queen of bass just ripped the poop out of Dua Lipa’s “New Rules”. Australian DJ Alison Wonderland has been making waves in the industry for the past few years and this remix is just as tough as they come. She has been a Chart Topper for the past 3-4 years in the land down under. But, of late, she has been taking over soundwaves and Spotify playlists state-side. She went complete donker-shane on Dua Lipa’s vocally intensified track and turned it into a Trap Anthem, seamlessly.
The synths and bass in this are nothing over the top but sooth and drop to near perfection. A song that is on a remix playlist of over 200, Alex Sholler’s stands alone as the bread winner. The track bounces, knocks, shakes, a bit of everything. The build glides like a gazelle into what should be turned into the Trap National Anthem. The drop maintains the bounce with a bass intensified feel. The bridge and chorus feel almost like something off a Major Lazer playlist where you can expect an “Airport Raggae” drop (shout out Rihanna). Then she hits Trap heads everywhere with a drop just as beautiful as her blonde locks.
