Electric Zoo 2017 : The 6th Boro is now officially less that 1 week away and with the set times officially out, its time to get excited. Electric Zoo is New York's biggest EDM festivals and have garnished some HUGE names for this year including deadmau5 b2b w/ Eric Prydz, Above & Beyond, DJ Snake, Zedd, & dozens more.
While many come to see the headliners, I decided to give you 4 artists in no particular order for you to check out who won't be gracing the main stage, but are still must see's if you don't have a preferred artist in that time slot.
Spencer Brown
Spencer Brown will be opening Electric Zoo at 3:00 on Friday at the Riverside stage. Brown is a progressive house/trance artist signed to Anjunabeats and has been on an absolute roll lately with his originals and with his remixes. Spencers set will be a 90 minute progressive journey that will hit you in the feels & have you grooving to some progressive tunes at the same time. He is also going b2b with Wingtip at the 6 Pointz stage @ 8:45 on Friday.
BROHUG
BROHUG will be playing Saturday @ 3:00 at the Riverside Stage. BROHUG are a swedish trio who have been on an absolute tear in 2017 with their amazing basshouse records. Their track “If I'm Wrong” is a staple in every house DJ's festival set and their incredible remixes continuously make official remix packs proving even other artists are taking notice.
Quix
Quix will be opening Saturday at Electic Zoo @ 1:00 at The Hilltop Stage. Quix is a trap artist with some of the hardest hitting tracks in the trap scene right now. His Diplo & Friends mix is one of the most popular mixes on r/trap & his hard hitting collabs frequently are making bass artists sets all over. Marc Maya
Marc Maya will be playing Sunday @ 2:30 on the Hilltop Stage which will be transformed over to the elrow stage on Sunday. Marc is a resident DJ in some of the biggest clubs in Ibiza. Always attracted to the grooviest rhythms, Marc makes it quite difficult while classifying his style in a particular genre. Dynamic and versatile throughout his sets, this is the key to his worldwide success. This set will be crazy as elrow is taking over the stage and will turn it into a Bollywood party.
