A vibrant remix package for Martin Solveig’s huge summer hit, ‘All Stars’ has now been released, featuring reworks from APEXAPE, Freedo, Mercer, BROHUG and Creange, each displaying their own unique interpretations of the original.
Pumping a theatrical guitar string-led melody into the reworking, Freedo laces the track with a soothing low-tempo touch. Best known for producing Zara Larsson‘s single ‘Lush Life’, and remixing Coldplay's ‘Up & Up’, the Swiss producer has also worked with the likes of Galantis, and Little Mix.
Fellow French DJ and producer Mercer uses a rumbling breakdown to give the production a real club mix vibe and more prominent bassline than Freedo’s reworking, whilst house duo Benny Kane & Dr Specs, aka. Apexape lace the track with their signature bass-heavy sound. Highlighting the original’s incredible vocals from Finnish breakthrough act ALMA, BROHUG strikes again, use a stomping breakdown to create a dancefloor destroyer, with Creange rounding off the remix package with a progressive Balearic version of the original production.
With the original of ‘All Stars’ racking up almost 30 million Spotify plays since release, the single has proved a huge summer hit, especially in Ibiza at Martin’s ‘My House’ residency at Pacha. A compelling display of Solveig’s multi-faceted sound, intertwined with ALMA’s remarkable vocal prowess, the feel-good anthem flaunts catchy xylophone hooks and a lead bassline, before propelling into an onslaught of brass fanfares and melodic grooves.
