Despite being settled on various continents, it seems the distance between the duo in Friends In Paris doesn’t stop them being harmonious, musically. After the success of the original single earlier on in the year, Friends In Paris return with a couple of remixes of their hit, “When Your Heart Is A Stranger.”
Being released now via Sony Music Belgium the track gets some pretty fresh remix treatment: first up is FLYES‘ staccato, synth-driven take. Drowsy electronic beats surround the soulful vocal harmonies, which are also chopped effectively, creating texture. Faisal is on duty for the second remix, delivering a smoothed out, melodic affair filled with jazzy chords and infectious grooves.
