Riding out of Quality Goods Records today is the keenly awaited Expand EP from bass producer duo sfam. A seriously promising act, the Mississippi based pair have poured a hell of a lot of passion into this five-tracker, and it is likely to create waves.
Opening with the rap-infused “Embellish” ft. Quaviusblack, sfam hit a mellow yet rhythmical note. Bawldy is taken on board for the brash “Yo,” before “Expand” lands with dynamic ease and scintillating synth-work.
Be sure to also watch for “Go” and “Wut’s Gud,” which offer further insight into how this act are always willing to experiment and push boundaries.
