Will Smith is back after a long hiatus away from the music industry with his latest EDM inspired track “Get Lit”. If you are around my age (30) then you’ve grown up listening to Will Smith. The man that brought us smash hits such as “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It”, “Men in Black”, “Miami”, and “Wild Wild West” comes back to the scene with “Get Lit”.
“Get Lit” is a moombah-trap hybrid track with the familiar vocals of Smith being highlighted throughout the track. If you’ve seen any other publications that have written about this track, people seem to be ripping this song to shreds, me personally, I don’t think the song is that awful at all. I think a lot of the venom is coming because of the artist behind the track. If you heard this in the club or at a festival there is no way you are not going to be jumping up and down. A track that is seemingly made for the club, “Get Lit” is sure to get some play at the big nightclubs throughout the USA.
