When dropping a debut album, there's plenty on the line. Even after a number of successful singles, EPs and collaborations, your first album is your chance to tell a complete, cohesive story and really define who you are as an artist. And with The Shell that's exactly what the King of Vomitstep, Snails has done.
If you were unsure as to what ‘vomitstep' really sounds like, give the album a listen and you'll have a pretty solid idea of how Fred defines his signature sound. Think disgustingly dirty, grimy bass layered underneath froggy synth & rhythm, with so much hype it'll leave you overcome with disbelief that yes, that drop, just went THAT hard.

And for the OG fans, you'll even find a metal remix of his signature trap-banger “King is Back.” This remix literally has so much power, there's no way you can stop from banging your head and searching for the nearest mosh pit. Seriously. It's that good.
He's been teasing this album, along with a big production tour for quite some time now. For those of us that were at Sluggtopia, he debuted a lot of these tracks live for the first time, including a guest appearance by Big Gigantic to perform “Feel the Vibe.” Starting mid-November, he's taking that same production on tour all around the country with support from artists like Funtcase, Boogie T, Bro Safari, 12th Planet, etc.
