The unlikely duo of Marshmello and 19-year-old rapper, Khalid just released the music video for their chart-topping hit, “Silence.” Only released two months ago, the song has reached No.42 on the Hot 100 chart and over 150 million plays on Spotify.
A dark world is revealed in the video, but peace is brought to the troubled individuals by way of neon lights. Both Khalid and Marshmello star in the video as high school students, riding through the night with illuminated bikes and personal first-person camera views. The video dropped last week and is already on its way to surpass 7 million views on YouTube.
