Every kind needs a queen, and The Lion King has just landed theirs.
On Wednesday, November 1st, Disney announced pop music's Beyoncé to voice the lioness Nala in Disney's live-action Lion King reimagining.
The Jon Favreau-directed movie will feature Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, and Beyoncé as Nala. The cast will also include Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, John Oliver as Zazu, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, and Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner as Pumbaa and Timon.
