It is typically recommended that you do some research on any symbol you are going to tattoo on your body forever. Well it looks like lead signer of the Dixie Chicks, Natalie Maines, didn’t do her homework.
The country signer apparently covered up an old tattoo on her foot with Bassnecter’s bassdrop, which she thought was a Greek symbol meaning “strength.”

We do have to give her some credit though, it has come to our attention that some users on Pinterest have mistaken the bassdrop symbol for Greek and Celtic even symbols.

Comments are flooding to the image posted on her Instgram page, welcoming Maines to the Bassnectar family. I think by now Maines might regret this one a little more than the one she covered up.
