This has been a long time coming to be honest. Kaskade famously started his Redux series several years ago. The project focuses on deeper productions and tours which feature sets in more intimate settings. Now the name is synonymous with Kaskade just performing a deep house set. One thing is for sure, fans all over the world absolutely adore this softer and deeper side of Kaskade. But wait…how the hell do you pronounce Redux?
Most people would guess that it is pronounced like a French translation, making the word sound like Re-Doo. Yet at the same right, during my many years in the EDM world I have been calling it Re-Ducks. This doesn't make a ton of sense but still that pronunciation has come up time and time again. So what is the verdict?
What's the correct pronunciation of "Redux"? "Ree-dux"? "Ree-doo"? "Red-ox"? It's been bugging me for a while… 🙄

Top English scholars argued over this…. I say re – do. But people much smarter than me still can’t decide which is the right way… https://t.co/C0dz08whoZ

Turns out in the end, absolutely nobody, even Kaskade has any idea what is going on here.
To pacify both sides I will alternate when speaking I love re – do but dang those clubs can get hot at the re – dux shows.
