Wowza has it been an exciting week for bass heads. On top of two single releases, Bassnectar has just announced one of his seasonal gatherings for 2018. With a stacked lineup including Rezz, Troyboi and Tokimonsta, the two-day event is set for March 30th and 31st at the Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, IL.
In his announcement, Bassnectar mentions he is deep in the labs working on his forthcoming ‘Reflective' part 2 EP, available for pre-order Friday and full release December 1, as well as working on an amazing set for Basslanta NYE.
He then introduces his seasonal event concept for 2018, and announces the first of four to be the spring event held in Chicago. This will be the first properly Bassnectar curated event to hit the MidWest city in 7 years. Lorin then goes on to describe how he will be turning this venue into a fully immersive sweatbox just like the raves he grew up on. Pre-sale ticketsare this Wednesday the 15th, with general sale on Thursday the 16th.
Mysteriously, he drops this timeline of Bassnectar events for the upcoming year which has the whole Bassnectar Fam community pulling on their thinking pashminas. (What could possibly rhyme with New Years Weave??)
