This past weekend, Insomniac's EDC Orlando took place at Tinkerfield, spanning over two days of continuous dancing and heart-pounding music. I have attended this festival for over three years, and I have never been disappointed with this Insomniac annual event. Truthfully, this year was the best one I have attended thus far. Taking place for its seventh year, Insomniac truly went bigger than ever.
This year's EDC Orlando welcomed over 80,000 attendees, marking the largest amount of headliners throughout its history. Fans were welcomed each day through beautifully lit neon daises and light-filled lanterns strung along the electric sky. There were plenty of carnival rides, beautiful art installations, and many fun-filled attractions. There was no way that anyone can be disinterested in this entertaining event.

After marking its epic entry into EDC Las Vegas, kineticField's, Gaia, was returned to amaze the minds of all who've attended. This stage platform truly expresses the work of art that Insomniac is known for creating. Gaia was exposed to large amounts of LED lighting, intensive visuals, and beautiful fireworks. Amazing acts such as Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Armin Van Buuren, Seven Lions, and Marshmello performed on this incredible stage, bringing their enjoyable sets to life. Headliners were amazed by the beautiful quality of this specific stage structure; there is no question as to why they would want to stay and enjoy most of their time there.

CircuitGROUNDS also made its annual return from EDC Las Vegas to blow the minds of all who enter it. Its huge screens and glittering lights guaranteed that its attendees would have an excellent time. CircuitGrounds was the perfect place to get your dose of trap and dubstep into your veins. Extreme artists, such as Excision, Zomboy, K?d, and Kaskade, gave it their all in this bass-filled stage, and surely no one could be disappointed.

NeonGARDEN, known for its trance and techno artists, returned once again as a circus tent. This stage emitted such extravagant beams and lasers that intensely flowed across its brilliant headliners. Its exquisite centerpiece, a disco ball, truly incorporated the idea of a natural nightlife. Incredible artists, such as Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila, Jamie Jones, and Green Velvet, took the stage and performed some of their greatest works.

The Corona Electric Beach returned once again, bringing some sand and sunshine along with its swaying palm trees and heated pool. Plenty of special artists performed, such as Party Favor and A-trak, completely dominating the dancefloor. The Boombox Artcar also made its return from EDC Las Vegas, providing a stage for new upcoming artists. The Boombox Artcar obtains its name for a reason; its physical structure resembles itself to an actual boombox, only one hundred times bigger. Fans were able to listen to common bangers and some entirely new music from some potentially talented artists.
Insomniac never fails to create a sense of beauty and euphoria for all of its headliners. EDC Orlando may have been completely transformed this year, but it definitely brought the same excitement and joy to all of its festival goers. This festival is one that should be certainly experienced at least once in your life. Truthfully, I enjoyed being able to experience this lively event for the third time. This experience was unlike any other, and I can't wait to see what is in store for next year's event.
