With only two days before Christmas, many of us will be busy wrapping those last minute gifts this weekend in preparation for the big day. While many of us may already have the classic Christmas music playing on repeat, I thought it'd be great to showcase a more minimalistic approach to a holiday classic.
[esq]ape (pronounced ‘escape'), is s a creative collaboration led by writer and vocalist Zabastian Amadeuz, which features various musical and fashion partnerships and a collective team of seasoned veterans from the LA underground art scene. The 1984 classic by Wham! has been reimagined by [esq]ape with a smooth jazz style sound over a minimalistic beat.
After a successful 2017 (including a performance at EDC Las Vegas), [esq]ape closes out 2017 on a high note by dropping this chillwave infused rendition of this holiday classic.
