Gorillaz is a British virtual band created in 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett. The band is composed of four cartoon characters: 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs. These characters are animated in music videos and live performances, and they have also been featured in a range of merchandise, including trading cards, T-shirts, and toys.
