Deadmau5 (stylized as deadmau5; pronounced “dead mouse”) is a Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, and musician. He produces a variety of styles within the progressive house genre and sometimes other forms of electronic music. His works have been included in numerous compilation albums, such as Tiësto's Magik and Ministry of Sound's Clubbers Guide to… series. In 2010, he received five Grammy Award nominations for Best Dance/Electronica Album for For Lack of a Better Name, Best Dance Recording for “Ghosts ‘n' Stuff”, and Best Remixed Recording for his work on the tracks “The Longest Road” by Morgan Page and “Raise Your Weapon” by Madeon.
